Over the past few weeks, the SkyTel engineers have been working tenaciously, installing and testing the latest top-of-the-range Low Earth Orbit User Terminals to be offered across the SkyLEO range of services.

Of particular note are the Intellian parabolic units, and the Hughes flat panel antenna, both of which are pushing the boundaries of what electronically steered LEO antennas are capable of.

The Intellian terminal provides seamless, undisrupted connectivity through a primary-secondary dual dome solution for consistent connection with LEO satellite handovers. Our extensive testing of this configuration has provided us with some very encouraging results.

Along with the Intellian terminal, the Hughes terminal has been effortlessly installed and maintained by the SkyTel team. Lightweight and weatherproof and boasting a robust aluminium chassis for long-lasting performance, its self-aligning feature simplifies setup, enabling users to immediately tap into the vast capabilities of the OneWeb system.
